Take part in the World Cleanup Day 2025

From 17 to 21 September 2025, on World Cleanup Day, join hundreds of Brussels residents in making our city a cleaner and more pleasant place to live. How does it work? Everyone organizes their own clean-up, where and when it suits them, but all together on these dates for maximum impact.

What's more, come and celebrate public cleanliness at the Brussels Clean Festival on Saturday 20th September 2025, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Place de Brouckère.

The programme features entertainment for young and old alike — creative workshops, gourmet food stalls, live concerts, and even a presentation of the impressive vehicles used by the cleaning service.

Your clean-up kit will be available either at the reception of the Bruxelles-Propreté offices (12 Avenue de Broqueville, 1150 Woluwe-Saint-Pierre) (within the 2 working days before the event), or in your municipality if it serves as a pick-up point (within the 3 working days before the event).

  • 1 clean-up vest per person 
  • 1 litter picker per 3 people 
  • 1 pair of gloves per person 
  • 1 roll of de PMC bags for recyclables (blue) 
  • 1 roll of bags for non-recyclables (white)
